Imagine Henny has to pay millions!!!!!!

1. Go to V*st*pr*nt.com. (Do they have a Google Alert for their name? I don't know; just in case.)
2. Order 500 cards with a fake name, e-mail address, and phone number.
2a. Use code KATG at checkout.
3. Put 494 of those cards right into the trash.
4. Put the remaining 6 cards in your wallet.
5. Ding a car.
6. Pull out your small stack of cards; give one to the other party or leave it at the scene of the incident.
7. Throw away the remaining 5 cards--they're your "burner phone".
8. Go to step one, with a new fake name, e-mail address, and phone number.

Dang Hennessy, this sucks. IMO, this is a bill like any other, and the amount you pay will be a negotiation. The most you'll pay is $1800, and the least is $0.

Some options:

1. Do nothing. Stop responding to emails, texts, whatever.
2. Tell them that $1800 is too much, and make a counter offer. Then it's a haggle. Let Chemda drive.
3. Ask to make payments.

Some combination of these 3 options are probably the most optimal solution. This claim is small enough that they could sue you in small claims court. I looked up the rules for NYS small claims court here, and the document is fairly informative and short.

Ask for three itemized estimates from three different repair shops with one being a dealership.
