im somewhat shocked hes allowed to have his "consultation" business, which sure sounds a lot like a counselig practice. New York is pretty strict, and I was under the impression you needed some sort of license to act as a counselor, particularly a relationship counselor. even life coaches need a license, and are liable for the advice they give.

I want to backtrack and apologize for something I said earlier.
Scorpion, you're right that it's not really fair of me to drag down Dante for his physical appearance. everyone has their thing, and just because something isnt my thing, doesnt mean it's not someone elses thing. and nobody should be expected to look a certian way to have respect or value in society, obviously. i've always felt that way, but i gotta learn yo extend the sentiment to other people who i may vehemently disagree with(cough red oill mem cough) to offer one point in my defense as i apologize, i think i am merely oversensitive to the "beauty queen entitles to averwge joe" motif because it seems to be absolutely everywhere in our media(and porn), and i believe it is also impacting the way men and women relate, where men have all the expectations regarding appearances in the world, but women arent really allowed to have any. couple that frustration with the fact that i spent the majority og the week with a fever at 101.5 or higher, wnd i think it made me a bit cranky and quick to lash oht. my apologies. |

I never found Dante's advice good to follow.
He seems like a nice enough guy, it is just I can't get past a few things. I think the last time (and I rarely go on the forums) I wrote anything here was back in 2014 when Dante was on to talk about his past. Call Somebody (Keith and The Girl) - Comedy Talk Show & Podcast I remember being more upset when he talks about "choking a hooker" in order to show dominance while he was a pimp and various other things (but the choking bit was what stood out the most to me). I understand that people have pasts that might not be something to be proud of, and I appreciate that he is very transparent with his history. However, on that episode he never showed any indication that he was sorry for what he had done. I get people change, and that people might do things that they regret when put in certain situations, it is just that he showed NO regret. Now maybe he showed some in later shows, which is doubtful because I pretty much listened to every show, but hey, maybe I was distracted by something and missed a minute or two. I remember being surprised that Chemda was, imho, pretty lenient with him, I expected her to give him a harder time. THIS episode, however, I really enjoyed her calling him out, and she did it with class and maturity. I applaud you, Chemda. So should Keith take Dante's advice? Hell no, I can only imagine the headache it would be to take those cabinet doors out in the first place. And they would need to put them back in sometime in the future. Do you know how frustrating it is trying to get those doors to line up perfectly? It would be more of punishment for Keith than Cat. I do get how annoying it must be to have a pet peeve that someone is actively ignoring, but.... well, sorry, deal with it :P. Also what's this thing about "Do it without anger"? That's BS, there's anger there when you go to 11, you can't help it, and if you act otherwise, you're creepy and if you ARE not angry and still do those passive-aggressive things? Sociopath. Then again, I'm single and a semi-hermit, so what do I know?
