I've never heard of or seen this chain of Paying it Forward phenonemon before. So I'm kinda confused. Do the people at the register say "So you're meal's paid for, do you want to pay for the next one?" or do people feel so awkward and pressured they just offer to pay?
I guess it only works at drive thrus....cuz you pay before you get your food at the counter... it's just.. the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard of. Why would I pay for some strangers meal that I can't even see? why would I give a fuck about some McDonald's employee giving me potentially judging me for not doing so? I'm sure they give an entire fuck about who pays for the those nuggets. I would not pay it forward and I very eagerly and earnestly say "HA! No" when asked to give a dollar at duane reade. Get fucked. 80% of the time the cashier laughs and moves passed that screen, the other 20% they say "k" and don't bat an eye
