Wow

That was...wow. Keith, that apology was one of the most beautiful things I have ever had the privilege to listen to. Chemda, you sharing how you own your part of the dynamics of the relationship, not playing the victim...wow. And to do it all into microphones. It is moving, inspiring, and so real. I hope that sharing all of this with an audience serves you both as much as it serves your audience. Thank you for your vulnerability and openess, and sharing your growth will all of us. And Anne, thank you for being there for Keith! So kind and generous. I feel so lucky to be witness to some of this as a listener.
Sending a lot of love to all.

I just wanted to write here with a message of good luck as well. This was an intense and really moving listen. Good luck Keith!

Im always blown away by how open you both are with us as an audience.

Also Chemda, Ive heard about Al-anon off and on for years and Ive always had my issues with the whole concept. The way you talk about it is the first time in my life Ive started to understand it. Thank you.

AlAnoner here. 30 years with an active alcoholic, who is now close to 10 years recovered. Together we can do what we can't do alone.

Keith, everyone should have a friend like Chemda.

Go online. Unless you're totally in the boonies, you'll find a meeting within an hour's drive at most. And yes, there are online meetings. And lots of Al-Anon reading material online.

Something I've been struggling and not wanting to deal with or admit openly for a while but I guess now is better than later... I'm an alcoholic
Time to hop on the sober train and be serious about it.

I've been listening to Keith and the Girl close to since the beginning. I was probably 13 or 14 then and just getting into podcasts. I was going through a really tough time through home and school, and it was just really comforting for me to listen to Keith and Chemda shoot the shit right before I went to bed.

I'm still listening now, over 11 years later. You guys are like family now. I've listened to you guys through a lot of hard times.

This episode made me bawl, especially when Keith apologized to Chemda. Things do sound different. I really hope the best for you, Keith.
