Headphones
I've been listening to you guys since the beginning and although I didn't always agree with you on some issues, I found myself thinking of you as family. I'm one of your older listeners (I'm 66) and I guess I sort of feel motherly towards both of you.
I cried at the end of this episode but I also realised something. If anyone can beat this horrible monster trying to take you over, it is you Keith. Especially with the friends you are lucky enough to have around you. Chemda, you are very special. |

Went to my second meeting tonight and made myself say something out loud. I was so confident but crumbled into a weepy mess like five seconds in. Three people came up to me afterwards and were like YAY YOURE HERE! It was really nice. I found out there's an atheist group here so I'm gonna definitely check that out. One week today! Woop woop!

A pint a day..
I've listened to KATG off and on for years. It's probably been over a year and I decided to give a listen. Question: Keith did you drink more than the pint this night? Also I have appearently missed the Keith and Katherine split. Is this ongoing or is this old news?
I'm back in....at least until the interns annoying laughing sends me packing! |

Jumping back on this thread to thank Keith for "What am I doing?" (if you guys ever decide to write a follow-up to 'What Do We Do Now?', you've got a title!).
Walking back from a fat & sugar-laden lunch, I hear Keith's voice with that slightly self-disgusted but resolved tone say "What am I doing?" & I switch to grilled chicken. I get angry after MP3 player skips tracks several times without my wanting it to, hear Keith's voice say "What am I doing?" and throw the damn thing in the trash. After another evening obsessing over my digital music collection, I hear "What am I doing?" and decide to delete most of it. So now instead of constant headphones, I walk with a book, pen & paper and feel much more positively about life (where I live, there's more birdsong that sirens - this might not apply equally in all areas). Anyway, thanks for injecting a voice of reason into my life. I might listen less because I threw my MP3 player in the trash but will pay it back by subscribing on multiple office computers. |
