Multiple times in the Starbucks drive thru by my old office there was a "pay it forward" line going where the person in front paid for me, and the employee lets me know. I've just said thank you, took my free coffee and drove off. Maybe this example is a little different, but anyone in a Starbucks line isn't in a needy situation, I didn't ask for my coffee to get paid for so I never felt bad breaking the chain.

Here in my town, on Thanksgiving night, hundreds of thousands of people gather in this one area to watch this huge display of Xmas lights get turned on. It's a tired tradition to those of us who live here but it draws an extremely large crowd.

This Thanksgiving, my family members were going to come from as far as California to have dinner in the area and watch the festivities.

In light of the Vegas shooting, my family has cancelled because they are scared to be in such a large crowd, like "sitting ducks", beneath countless balconies and windows.

It makes me super sad. Although I admit, like the guest was saying, movie theaters and large crowds have been creeping me out for while now. It just sucks to say it out loud.

but mental health care and community awareness is a thing
ther's europe this and that, those people have culture
that's why 'merica needs police and social services and Amway
and that Wheel of Fortune / Jeopardy block in the evening
so, I went to a few est guest seminars in the early '80's and got escorted out. I had esthole friends and had gotten invited by strangers, it was entertaining.

I never know what you’re saying but I’m going to ask anyway: What weird shit did you do to get escorted out?

Great show, Great guest.

Re: pay it forward - It always makes me laugh at the seemingly nice things that peace, love and empathy Chemda will be randomly against. Not that I disagree, it just amuses.
