That's a good point.

At school you meet a bunch of people with different life experiences and views than you.

You can find "your people" and not feel alone anymore.

Especially regarding racism I think it's not good to let some white power parents homeschool their kids with 0 chance of befriending someone of another race. Parent: " kid only white is right and all the others eat children!"

That's what happened to my childhood friend.

Her parents took her out of public school and made her go to home school at their church.

She wasn't allowed to watch Rugrats or Hey Arnold. (that upset me greatly lol)

I went to church with her sometimes and both her parents and her church members were well meaning racists.

"I like you. You aren't like the black girls at my school." - her mom, a middle school math teacher at an all black school

It is part of the plan that my home school wouldn't be run by white power enthusiasts. That's in our top 7 bylaws easily.

It may sound offensive it's not #1, but I think not having teachers into pedophilia is pretty high on the list also.

There's no way to win while writing the bylaws. People seem to think the order of who not to be teachers is written in order of importance, but they are all of grave importance.

Keith, I'm a very helpful person.
I created a racism / sexism test you can use for anyone who would teach in your school.

Use is, even in other situations. You want to know if a new guest can be trusted? Test him!

TEST:

Take a look at the picure.
https://sommababy.files.wordpress.co...cial-women.jpg

How many equal to you human beings do you see here?

A) None, I am a man and therefore I am superior.

B) One

C) heil Hitler!

D) Four

E) three

F) two

G) reverse racism.

H) five

The right answer is D.

Sneaky racist may pass the test, but whoever fails shouldn't work for you or be a guest on the show.

Are we only addressing racial equality? Cause the white gal seems like she is a bit of a phony.

non-religious homeschooling is awesome. i worked with a bunch of home schooled mountain kids and a bunch of public school kids and the home schooled kids were more mature, responsible, motivated, able to speak with and to adults better, had broader experiences like going to environmental river camps and other outings specific to their interests. lecture environments aren't my preferred method of learning. traditional school was a boring waste of time for me. i would have rather had less structure and more activities and interaction with the world at large in more capacities than authority/student. homeschooling can be done beautifully and isn't inherently inferior to institutional learning.

Some people grow up to be doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc... School is for them. The rest got the opportunity to find out they're not in those categories, and free supervision until they became adults.
