Listening to Keith is like a master class on sarcasm.

We understand that perverts who expose themselves to kids are wrong. That it's a crime. That the trauma you are inflicting upon another person is immeasurable. Louie is a parent. A father of two daughters. How he didn't know, or wasn't intelligent enough, or honest enough to see what he was doing - it's ridiculous.

He also made a liar out of Tig Notaro. I remember thinking, "Why is she urging Louie to talk about this..?" Then he responded. Denying it all.

I loved me some Louie CK. Liked his stand up. Really liked his tv shows. But this is so gross, so egregious, I can't imagine ever supporting anything he did again. It was interesting Chemda brought up "Well he could do comedy about this/ come clean sorta thing." But that's exactly why I'm done as a fan.

The time Louie had to 'come clean' was the last 17 years. Instead he lied, avoided dealing, hurt more women, and topped it all off with lying and making liars of others who looked the other way.

There is no difference between Harvey Weinstein and Louie CK. To think otherwise is to allow his dick jokes to confuse the fact - his dick was out.

I've been thinking about this for a while and I remember a guest on the show talking about how taking out his dick was a move to get sex or have women blow him. I don't remember details though, just the displeased feeling I had from that episode, and I was wondering if anyone else recalled that podcast and the guest? It wasn't recent, probably several years ago.

I really liked Adam Conover on the show.
He is funny and totally wasn't shy about calling out Louis CK.
I like Adam Ruins Everything before and would catch it now and then, now I like it even more and will make a point to watch it regularly.

I've been waiting for DAYS to hear the KATG take on all of this! Even though I knew (because of KATG), I didn't want to believe it and I was having trouble giving up on Louie, but Adam convinced me. The best point that can't be argued was when he said that even if the women said yes, YOU CAN'T DO THAT AT WORK. Everyone knows it's wrong for your boss or colleague to ask you to look at his dick. Louis knew. Everyone knows.

He ruined those women's lives & careers cos he's an asshole and then he threw out a half-hearted statement which was too little, too late. Fuck him, I'm done.

And I really wanted to see that movie too cos the idea of a 17-year-old falling in love with John Malkovich is crazy stupid hot. But I'm a sicko and I only make consenting adults deal with me.

Judging by Reddit, fans are not only willing to look past this but seem desperate for an excuse to remain fans. My prediction is that diehard fans will stick with him while he's in seclusion but he'll be unable to make a significant comeback because he won't be able to go back to his fucked up jokes without making people cringe. He'll try to make more artsy horseshit like Horace and Pete but fizzle out.
