I'm a single mother of a 16 y/o who's pissed at me like 90 percent of the time. Pretty sure Lady Bird is for me.

Keith I'm gonna watch it WITH MY BRAND NEW SHINY MOVIE PASS and I promise to find ten reasons why you liked the movie afterAll.

Cracks me up when Keith explains to the guest, “I’m looking at you but I’m talking to the listener. They get it”

I agree with Keith about Lady Bird, it's just too self-consciously cutesy, or something ...

I love being out in the woods at night because I grew up in the country. I would be scared of the dark in a big city. I'm with you Chemda.

I don't think people are literally scared of darkness. They are scared of not being able to see any potential danger.

That's a survival skill. Survival of the fittest means that those who are the most cautious at night live long enough to mate another day. Explaining why so many people have "a fear of the dark". Genetics.

Whether it's logical or not in this day and age is a different story. Technology moves faster than evolution.

"I say I'm busy and I have the receipt to prove it."

I laughed and laughed.

(Sidenote: the dark makes me uneasy because I can't see things around me)

Alright Keith,
I watched Lady Bird and since you already know it was a good movie, here are the facts behind why you like it.

Ahem:
---------//
They have a cute dog named Bramble.

The overweight best friend takes responsibility for her weight very early in the movie. Roger Lafferty prolly never did that.

They eat all the communion wafers because fuck it.

Alanis Moresette song plays and you love Chemda and she loves Alanis.

Lady Bird tells her gay bf "You can touch my boobs" and he says "No I respect you too much" and we know you like consent.

For a movie that is so centered on a high school, there is no student fucking, not even by the priest and there's no bullying.

Weed

Albeit a dumb reference to football, it is referenced in the coach teaching theater.

The dad of the asshole boy she fucks is dying of cancer. Haha fuck him.

Flip phones are all over this movie, before robots took over.

Beer and NYC are key points in the movie.
-----------

There, now you know the facts and you don't have to lie.

That mom was a Fucking biiiiiiitch though
