Chemda doing her best Andy Rooney impression talking about commercials.
Also, Chemda still thinks TNG is the tone of Star Trek. JJ Abrams made it into Star Wars so good they gave him real Star Wars Last edited by Skyler; 12-12-2017 at 12:54 PM. |

I don't have super strong feelings on this DNR tattoo, however I am somewhat surprised you're both so strong on one side. I was split, and suppose my hesitation would be the end of him haha. But if I got a DNR tattoo drunk or something, I would be sure to get that crossed out ASAP so their wouldn't be confusion. It is pretty crazy.

DNR is a legal order
Chemda, we 60% aren't bad folks, it's that this is actually a consent issue. Before comedy, I was on my way to being an EMT and we were taught that medical tattoos like "Diabetic", "______Allergy", "DNR" are semi common. These are important because, fortunately, doctors/EMS/Etc. are not legally allowed to perform medical procedures on us without our consent. The loop hole is that if you're unconscious they are allowed to assume consent to survive/appropriate treatment. Do Not Resuscitate orders are common and legally binding and tattoos are not an unheard of way to ensure they are respected. No means No right?
Anybody who has a DNR as a joke or doesn't want it anymore should pay $20 to get it covered, that's their responsibility. If you're wondering why anybody would want this, often if one needs resuscitation they don't come back with all their mental and physical abilities. Once you're back alive, your desire to die will absolutely not be respected. Worst case scenario, you and I are both old enough to remember Terry Shaivo, that Permanant coma lady who's family was pressured by Christians not to let her pass away. I'm surprised that you guys are so surprised about the DNR poll. Waking up with reduced capacity or being stuck in a waking coma is absolutely the most terrifying thing imaginable. The guy should have added an "as of" date underneath every six months or so just to make sure they knew it was serious. Florida is one the states that are good about DNRs and I assume this guy had a laminated card, but he didn't have his wallet with him.
Regarding the new episode schedule, does this change anything with the RSS feed? I have episodes auto-downloaded when the feed updates. I wait and binge so it doesn't sound like the new schedule will change anything for me, but it's cool that you're changing it up. Edit: took another look at the feed and I see how it works now.
