This video says it all.
Whitney is clearly addicted to over-eating. When her trainer points out that sugary drinks and fast food are the problem, she then cries and takes zero responsibility. She’s in denial. The worst is how she blames the trainer. “It’s like he doesn’t even believe in me!” It’s sad cuz she’s just not accepting responsibility - or acknowledging facts |

I think energy drinks, if not outright banned, should at least be regulated like alcohol and not sold to children. If teens want to get that hyped on caffeine they should be forced to drink coffee, which probably doesn't taste as good as the sugary shit to them.

When I was 17 there was a local concert that had free red bull there. It was when energy drinks were just becoming popular (at least to my awareness). I had 4 to 6 in about 5 hours. I don't remember the exact number. I stayed up all night, and fell asleep at 9 am on my friends couch.
I thought of this for the first time in years today listening to this story. I'm 5ft, and about 88 lbs at that time. I'm seriously almost crying thinking how dangerous that situation was. I was young and didn't even think to question what I was doing. I think I've had energy drinks two times after that. One each night, the two nights weeks apart my friends and I went exploring abandoned, rumored to be haunted, houses. I don't know what the answer to energy drinks should be, and where we draw the line (if energy drinks can't be sold to under 18s, what about coffee?). I do know that for me personally I'll be making sure I talk to my kids about it when they are older, just like I'll talk to them about all other drugs. |

before I drank coffee I would have drink MONSTER to keep going at my offce job. It would take me 3-4 hours to finish one can and the most I ever drank were 2 a week, because they were too much. One week I drank one, two days in a row and before I got half way through the second can I got this MASSIVE headache. This was 3 years ago and I can no longer drink any monster without getting sick.
Can't even imagine what this nutso person did to himself |

I might have one or two of the small sugar free red bull type cans a week when I'd rather a cold drink instead of coffee. Or if I'm hungover.
It takes me 3 hours to drink one of those large Mother cans and I'm twitchy the whole time, like I've taken bad speed, which I kind of like because I'm too old to be able to find people to sell me real drugs anymore. I had the low sugar version once and didn't feel twitchy at all. Screw that. |
