A clone is just an artificial twin. And even less.
The clone grew in a different uterine , had contact with different hormones and was born at another time.

And imagine you are married to a human twin. Then your partner dies. You wouldn't say : oh I just go for the living twin now and it will be the same! Like twin 1 never died!
No, you get that even if you find twin 2 attractive, you would have to build a whole new relationship.
Same with dogs. The clone is a new dog you need to build a relationship with. ( stay friends. No sex.) Like with any other new dog.

Listening Keith talk about cloning is just as ignorant as Chemda talking about microwave radiation. Why would they be in pain? And of course, they have a different personality, because it's developed thru the environment in which you are raised and it continues to change throughout your life.
And it is very hypocritical of you for being so anty cloning, having bought a breed dog. The same arguments apply for not buying one as for not cloning one.

Sorry but this is not true.
Cloned animals at least used to have a shorter life expectancy. It's a copy if an existing individual.
And a pure breed doesn't cost 50000 I guess. And. It's created through a new mix of paternal and maternal dna and that's better for health. That's why we have sexual reproduction at all. Especially if we clone like Barbara more then one they are prone to the same diseases.

My dog is a rescue ( I'm the best) so it's not about defending my chooses.

I think inbreeding is equally unhealthy in the long term. Not sure what the cost of the animal has to do with it being healthy, though. And this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloning#Lifespan

Very true.

He is right though I think that it's a better and safer situation for the women overall when prostitution is legal. He just didn't argue that point well.

I'm not as educated on sex trafficking and how regulation impacts it. But I was just very uncomfortable listening to him basically describe purchasing women. Idk maybe I'm a prude. I'm not in theory against prostitution. But like, I'd never date a guy who had purchased services from a prostitute.

I understand that but I try to see it from a practical point of view.
It's called the oldest profession for a reason. It's gonna happen and I'd rather make it better for the women.

It's legal in Germany and that means the women at least get a chance to go to the police if they are abused because they didn't commit a crime themselves. They can get health insurance, they pay taxes. It's still a shitty job and you can't convince me that the women are excited to do it but it's a way to make money.

I never dated a guy that told me he payed for sex but I did have a long discussion with a guy about it just a few months ago who did. It was very interesting and I'm happy he trusted me enough to discuss it honestly. I asked a ton of invasive questions.
