Prostitution

If prostitution is consensual with all parties then I don't have a problem with it.

As I mature I realise relationships aren't cut and dry, if I got sick I might come to an agreement with my husband or maybe some people aren't matched in sexual tastes and agree to go elsewhere for satisfaction.

It should be licensed and inspected to limit exploitation.

How someone can have sex with an addict for a small amount of money in an carpark of industrial estate is beyond me.

Cloning

“We can finally clone Tupac. Get rid of that awful hologram”

Nice hearing Chris’s super distinct voice on show again.

For starters, a "Sanctuary city" approach would probably work best.
So that the exploited sex workers would not be prosecuted when reporting a crime.

Then legalize it with forced monthly checkups/license extension, where the worker would have to go thru health check for diseases and maybe a quick psych test. Promoting consumers to only hire licenced sex workers because of there health benefits would probably give a boost to this system.

I'm not really into safe zones because they are usually not very attractive places and promote a stigma about particular areas.

You misunderstood me. Not safe zone, just no prosecution of victims.

Sorry, really liked what you said it makes sense. I was just saying they shouldn't be in isolated areas. Did I see you do research into sex work?

Idk if I would do it tho.

We've been cloning animals since the 1970s through blastomere separation and 1997 through somatic cell nuclear transfer (remember Dolly?).

Cloning doesn't give the dogs the same personality for the same reasons that identical twins don't have the same personality. Having the exact same genetic makeup doesn't change all the external factors that go into forming a personality.

If something is wrong with the clone we could quite literally just check. The same way we check non-cloned dogs for illness.

But also, since the company is charging $50,000 I would hope they do quality control on their product. Only allowing the healthy embryos to grow.
But if you raise the new dog in the exact same settings growing up, would they end up having the same personality? I'm talking same people around it, same living conditions, etc.
