Percentage-wise 100 people dying when 10’s Of millions of cars are on the road? Not a big deal. 1 person dying from the 3 driverless uber cats is pretty important.

Still, the most important development with driverless vehicles is a reduction of traffic and subsequent reduction in emissions. Also, when nobody drives, nobody cares what car they have so they stop being idiots about electric ones. |

so, 'round here we have a stretch of road called The Dragon's Tail. i'm not sure where you guys live, but i'm fairly certain there's no way a driverless car in its infancy of development isn't gonna dump you off a mountain. no thanks.

when nobody drives? do you know how fun driving is? America's love affair with taking to the open road is deep rooted. uphill battle is an understatement. and we will never stop caring that our stuff is better than our neighbor's stuff. you some kind of commie, bro?

if we want to achieve them high goals, wouldn't high speed trains be a smarter investment? ya know, 'cause it takes a butt load of oil to make tires that wear no matter who's steering and there's wear and tear on the roads themselves that require routine maintenance.

I don't really understand this picture, but I'm pretty sure whoever took it has never been stuck on a highway because somebody slowed down to 30mph to take simple wide turn. Or because everyone freaked out because of a raindrop. Or because somebody else got pulled over across eight lanes and they just have to look. Or because everyone takes the same road to the same place even though there's eighteen ways to get there.
