Keith and Chemda had the solutions to all my problems.

I think men don’t recognise when just shutting down a conversation quickly with a solution is not satisfactory.

BTW I heard Laurel but I didn’t know the word Yanny exsisted. The woman I share an office with is mega pedantic when it comes to pronunciation. So far my pronunciation of alleles and heame guacamole and “h” have caused her great distress.

Keith’s synopsis should be played in movie theatres worldwide.

laurel’s are a kind of waxy leaf shrub. the mountain laurel, AKA spoonwood, is in bloom right now! they grow hella big and in thickets in the wild. #myfave

So the reason some people hear Yanny and others Laurel, is not anything to do with what you want to hear like with the brain storm one.
Its about the quality of your speakers, listen to the same audio on different devices and you'll hear something different.
In my car i heard Laurel (Good bass speakers) but on my iPhone speaker i heard Yanny (Very tinny poor speakers)

I heard yanny for the first 10-15 times I heard this, and then I heard laurel. Now I hear both on different days (it's only been a couple of weeks, but still). Even when a radio station plays the same thing over and over again, sometimes I hear the two different words.

The guy who "discovered" this also mentioned that the difference could have to do with frequency of pitches people hear, and their age.

I respect that Chemda doesn't go to movies. A lot of hippie folk i know are like this. They'll even make a point that it's all garbage/ waste of time/ money/ etc Better to smoke pot, go for a hike, talk politics and all that. Most cool. I get it. I understand.

BUT THESE MARVEL MOVIES are so super fantastic - I really think she needs to at least see the best one out now. Black Panther. This movie is not just a comic book movie. I mean, it is. But it transcends that. It's got an incredible plot. Well-written characters. Beautiful costumes. It's got all the right politics of female empowerment, tremendous cast, a kick-ass soundtrack...

There's a reason Black Panther is 97% on Rotten Tomatoes. My opinion, best Marvel film to date. I think Chemda and Hennesey would love it.

(then. just for funzies. check out like , ( and it's only gonna take 2-3 minutes) of a DC flic. Suicide Squad: garbage. Batman VS Superman: like ruining not just one classic, but two. Justice League: awful)

Keith is out there. In these popcorn trenches. Movie pass in hand. He's doing the work. HE UNDERSTANDS. HEY DC, just do what Marvel does and quit ruining everyone's childhood/ WITH/ yer bullshit.

Again. Chemda and Hennesy should see Black Panther. If they don't love this film - I'd be shocked. They might even cry at end. It's that good.
