i dated a movie critic. Everything was fine except his being the closet and intense shame from growing up in a catholic family who always talks shit about gay people and made him want to stay in the closet as an adult in his 30s

Hahah Hereditary. I was invited (because all of this persons other friends were busy, he felt so inclined to mention) to see this with no idea what it was about. I was confused for a long time what we were actually seeing, in terms of this being a horror movie. If the movie just centered on the relationship between the mother and son after the daughters death, that alone would have been a compelling movie! That shit was explosive.

Two couples walked out halfway. By the end, I felt like “I just saw a movie!” To be fair, I absolutely noticed the words on the wall and they absolutely said verbatim that the girl was the original host for the body, and they apologize for her imperfect form. You probably just stopped giving a shit and stopped paying attention. Because the music during the resurrection scene was fire, my guy.

Look at that. I got through a response to Keith’s movie review without any vitriol. #evolution

Not talked about enough - millions of Red Staters were introduced to the normalization of a "dresses like a girl" grandson on network TV. The impact of shows like Modern Family on the advancement of gay rights has been recognized. In evaluating the merits of a Darlene spin-off, try to keep in mind the millions of minds influenced by a loving family relationship with a potential trans character at its center.

I noticed the unreadable tiny words etched in the wall - the camera was directly on them, Sherlock Holmes. But you're telling me you thought: "Okay, satony is Satan, that's clear. Liftoach... classic Hebrew, probably means open or something like that. Pandemonium duh, but also I know it from being the name of Hell in Paradise Lost from the 1600s. Zazas, well, that speaks for itself: ouija boards. Hello people!"

Well, you're a fuckin' genius. What can I tell ya.

Now explain how the mom's "sleepwalking" made the candle turn into a flamethrower and break shit around the house. Never mind how she alone dug up and carried the dead body to the attic without anyone noticing...

But this is the more important thing. You recognized that I wasn't putting YOU down, and you knew that you didn't direct this movie, and now we can still be best pals.

YAY!

And now you need to question all his movie reviews where the films were about relationships. He owes some directors some apologies.

I like to think he went above and beyond, attacking the liberal Hollywood gay agenda.

Actually he reviews a ton of indie queer movies and gives them rave reviews and talks about how hard it must be to live like that. Like all families, they couldn't care enough to read his work or else they would see in an instant hes clearly gay and talking from experience

Flamethrowers

Even though I’m an environmentalist, I would 💯 % give a flame thrower a go and torch some trees if I got the chance.

you could always contact the fire department or DNS and volunteer to help set control burns.

Keith 06-21-2018 04:59 PM

“Hi, I’d like to set up a control burn please. What days are good for the fire department? Not tomorrow. Tomorrow I have the police escorting me to remove things from my ex’s house. Thank you.”
