Here's why it took two months for the Papa Johns report to come out. No white person should use the N-word but I think that referring to a case where the N-word was used is different than the casual use of the word implied during this episode.

Elon is a dickhead, incredibly educated across a spectrum of discplines, but still a dickhead. There were expert cave divers and navy seals, which agreed that the submarine was impractical for the purpose of the mission. One of the guys went and called the whole thing a pr stunt. So Elon go super butthurt and decided the best action for the CEO of 2 major companies was to call the guy that rescued all the kids a pedophile on twitter. Yes, Elon is a dickhead.

He used the word to complain about how other racists didn't get in trouble so why should he. Still counts. I think Keith and Chemda brought that up in their comments, too.

You know how people say that Batman is a terrible superhero because he'd rather beat up petty criminals in alleys than use his enormous wealth to fund education and jobs programs to reduce crime in Gotham.

...that's kinda how I feel about Elon.

All the money and resources and it feels like all he does is make himself random toys with it depending on what his interests are for that week/month/year. And wants praise for it.

...and also donating money to republican super pacs...

When I worked for a video game company I used to book travel for E-Sports teams all the time - These dudes get paid travel, hookups, etc for these competitions.

I've been working on launching a twitch stream later this year = Have my drag queen friends come to my house & stream while we play mario kart & games like that.

I kinda agree with Mike L that the mainstream-ness of it all can affect the popularity - AND every bubble bursts BUT who knows...?

Pewdz has made quite a career for himself, but I know him more now for his meme reviews, etc vs game playing....

Not sure how valid this is but here’s a list of (supposed) contributions to both parties. Looks like he donated a fuckton to both parties but started leaning heavily republican in the last few years.

Businessmen are going to be businessmen. And multibillion dollar corporations are known to do some morally shifty things to get what they want. It comes with the territory.

That's fine and dandy. (It's not... But it's life)

But dont pretend to be this benevolent inventor who is just trying to better the world while lining the pockets of fascism.

Providing funding to the axis powers does not suddenly become okay because you also funded the allied powers.

Ish is grimey.

What Axis powers does Elon support? I don’t even know what he invented. Just that he is an inventor - inventing and whatnot.
