before i listen to this, i tried my best to watch Mama Mia on Netflix b/c i have garbage taste in movies and it seemed like the kind of fluffy, romantic, happy ended romp i'd be into. false. it is unwatchable. Meryl Streep is a fine actress and they made her look stupid. plus, ABBA does not have 22 hits. they have, like, 3 tops. nobody wants an ABBA deep cut. nobody.

Keith watched the new Mama Mia movie?

Dang, The Kid ain't lying when he says he sees EVERY movie ever.

I wonder if the entire business model of MoviePass is something like this:

X # of emails (or whatever data they’re collecting) = fucktons of money

Minus

X $ paid to movie theaters to cover movie tickets

Plus

X $ income from MoviePass holders


Still equals a profit.

Maybe they know that it’s a losing enterprise in the short term but the money made over time from selling the info still makes a profit over the long term. So maybe they expected the “money to run out” but planned for it in their business model.

We saw the new Mama Mia film last night and we all started crying at the sad bit despite the cheese fest.

We don't have anything like Movie Pass in Canada. I am just living through Keith.

And you know what? I wasn’t even that impressed by the ant playing the drums. But I’ tell you something. If you look at me like you don’t know that post credit scene; ya fucked up.
