Oh fuck I just messed up the science of the poll. I voted "yes" because as a small idiot child, I did tear up my own book because I was mad that my mom wouldn't read me another story at bedtime. But as a grown adult with a brain in my head, no I have never destroyed my own property as a lesson to a giant corporation. Idiots!

One Sunday, it was replaced by a political speech from some general, because of protests in the country.
I got so mad, I bit a big hole into my pillow.

But I didn’t prostest big pillows, I was just frustrated.
Did it taste of marshmallow?

I've never protested anything. But the Nike thing is pretty annoying. As if avoiding their tax responsibilities and outsourcing jobs to overseas sweat shops weren't enough for the Anti Kaepernick crowd to protest Nike, it's a person practicing their freedom of speech that does it. I don't understand the hypocrisy.

On Kaepernick's part, I feel it hurts his stance to kneel in protest of inequality here, but to accept an advertising campaign from a company like Nike who is known for using poor working conditions in third world countries to create their products. I get he's got bills to pay, but it' still hard to swallow for me.

All companies try to avoid paying taxes in accordance with the law.
I find it hard to believe that you don't have anything to protest or be upset about.

To be clear, I am totally on Kaepernick's side regarding the protesting. I am 100% on his side. I am saying that Nike is a company who has had gross run ins with ethics in their manufacturing and business practices. For the MAGA-hat-wearing crowd, I don't understand why outsourcing jobs wasn't already enough to protest Nike.

I know there's plenty to protest, but I haven't ever destroyed my own things in protest and for sure never bought anything out of protest. I've been around protests, but not as a participant, as an observer.

Jim Jefferies on corporation morality. Or lack thereof.
