I've never been camping as an adult as the whole thing sounds fucking awful, but I agree with Keith. As an apartment dweller, I really don't get where you would put a tent the other 363 days of the year. It seems worth the $60 just to free up space in the apartment. Plus, no ticks. Win-Win-Win.
Chemda has outdoor space, where would she put 6 tents if she didn't? |

Well when there are three people in your family who need tents it makes TOTAL SENSE KEITH. Now I’m imagining you and Kyle and her kids all sleeping in one tent on vacay. “Dad Two, next year can you spent $70 so we can have more tent?”

I have a tent at home that's been used 2 times this year because I retired my old one last year after it's been used 10+ times.
I actually left it at the festival and gave it to the neighbors because they were young punks that had super shitty cheap tents and even my old one was better than that. I'm with Samantha on this - if you don't want to ticks don't go camping. They live in the woods and grass not tents. |

For years Keith has made me laugh with his “throw the tent away - once done camping.” It’s hilarious because it’s so absurd. Who the hell throws gear away? Personally I have a pretty decent tent and a -20 degree synthetic down mummy bag.
Good gear is important. It says something about you. No one is ever going to change Keith’s mind - ESPECIALLY now that he has added the “ticks live in the woods” aspect to argument. What I’m saying is Keith is dead wrong about this. However. If his horrendous approach to camping keeps turning out top notch comedy - meh, whatever works. “Stay Inside.” 😂 |
