I didn't say any of that. I prefer not hearing about people's kids at all. My friend has axoltls that she thinks are her babies, I get bored hearing about them too.

And you'd be kidding yourself if you didn't think people weren't telling us how much we're missing out on.

You're right, it would be. And yet, a lot of parents do it. I decided at an early age that I didn't want kids. I don't say a thing about it to anyone - it's my decision and nobody gives a shit....until they start asking why you don't have kids. I recently got married at age 41. Everyone wants to know if we're having kids. We've already had the talk, decided that maybe if this had been a decade ago we would, but we're not really down with it at this age. So, we just smile and say, "Yeah, we decided we don't want to be 60 with a college kid." And then they keep pushing. It's not too late. You still have time. I even had one parent ask me what's the point of getting married at all if I'm not having kids. I just answered, "Because we love each other?"

It's all really cool if you're totally chill and don't judge people's choices and don't give them shit. But as a childless woman in her 40's, I'm telling you flat out that you're in the minority on that front.

People seem to assume that if I don't want kids it means I hate them. It's not the case at all. I actually really like kids, but I respect the amount of work they are and have chosen not to have them. Parents talk about their kids to me all the time, and I share stories about my niece and nephew in return.

Personally, I think the little "tiff" in this episode was just jokes all around and no one was actually mad, just exaggerating for effect. But that's just me.

The tiff felt completely out of the blue and I had no idea what was going on. At first I thought, oh it's just Chemda's "oh really, kids are hard" bit, but then she kept going and I'm like, what did I/ he miss? Lenny sounded more tired then normal so did he miss something that was going on? Did anyone watch the video and is it more obvious with visual clues?
