Also - I have a theory of the love languages thing - I think it might be bullshit because maybe whatever the quiz determines your "language" is, is simply what you're not getting in your current relationship. For instance, if you have a bf who never gives you words of affirmation, but is ALWAYS physical with you, I bet your love languages quiz result would say that your language is words of affirmation (cuz that's what you're lacking) -- but if you were in a relationship where that was swapped - (lots of kind words / no touches ever) - your result might then show that you want more Physical Touch. I don't know - I've taken the test in different relationships and that's what I found to happen for myself. Who knows. Interesting topic tho!

Interesting. I don't think this is the case for everyone (for example, some people love giving out gifts but don't expect to receive them back to the same degree; they want other forms of love back), but it's definitely something to think about.

I've always thought that you could do all 5 of these things for a partner in small ways every now and then. Some people find doing even one of these love languages to be very hard, but then maybe don't be in a relationship.
