CHEMDA! Your apartment is so beautiful! Those ceilings are so fucking amazing, I apologize for anything I said about your messiness.
I thought you guys were in some cool, vintage event space when I saw the pics before I heard the show. Fuck those French people that gave you a 2. I would kill for those ceilings. Happy new year you fabulous cripple! |

While I've heard about crazy wait times with places that have universal health coverage I'd like to think moving away from hospitals chasing a pay check and trying to push drugs and treatments you don't need on you to bump up your bill.
Also Bird Box was pretty bad. Very basic with low production value. The best part was the romance between Sandra and Trevante. It was good to see them both again |

Yeah, she cut them out of her life because they showed time and again they didn't approve of the person she was. Doesn't mean that her feelings just disappear. And it still can't be good knowing the people who are meant to love you unconditionally don't seem to care when you're hurt, injured or have a potentially life threatening tumour. She's allowed to be upset by that.

Outrageous and typical
It saddens me to hear Chemda’s experience in NYC hospitals, Astoria and Manhattan. Further, I’m concerned about the hospital bills, status and quality/cost of her insurance.
Chemda don't be shy about starting a go fund me account. Brian Scolaro attended to my HS in Queens; not too far from Cardozo . He raised over $35,000 and possibly more with a prior campaign. We in the KATG group want to help Chemda if needed! Scolaro claims he’s okay. Thanks to gofundme he's on an aggressive, COSTLY monthly infusion with (Tysabri). He’s confident in his future health since he’s aggressively treating early in the disease process with new drugs. But I know firsthand his future is uncertain. https://www.gofundme.com/med-bills-f...ple-scleroosis Brian Scolaro is from Astoria. He comes back to visit home from LA. So you should have him on the KATG. Chemda’s hospital experience in Astoria or Manhattan is outrageous and typical. People have no respect including hospital staff and patients. It will only continue to get worse with comrade DeBlasio and his political ilk. WTF is wrong with a patient screaming I’m a Latina mother. Referring to herself with a made-up label Latina is ridiculous claiming she is Puerto Rican/Dominican. But more importantly, disturbing other patients and disrespecting people. Then staff not going out of their way to cater to their customers (patients) is low class. The system is rigged. A third party payer like our education system pays for services, And they know without competition (alternatives) you are stuck with inadequate treatment at any price. At least NYC is not the USA. Hospital care for the elderly and sick in the fly over states is far more caring and professional. Kentucky ridiculed on KATG as some backward, racist, state. But the fact is a black or dark-skinned family looking for a rental or home in the five boroughs is near impossible in most neighborhoods. Do you really think a vacant NYC rent stabilized two bedroom apartment goes to a deserving family? In the Midwest and south, this level of blatant racial discrimination is not as common. Let’s say Ohio. Blacks can live in the same building or community with whites. 100% NOT true in NYC. NYC think they are more advanced, progressive but that lie is ridiculous and a myth perpetuated by the media. Unfortunately, Germany and Scandinavian countries have a system based on many factors that can’t work in NYC for many reasons. As someone that was born and grew up going to school, working, and commuting daily in Queens and Manhattan I have an informed opinion. I’m 100% a New Yorker I cant change that. But would never use the word proud. We are no better or worse but now realize my experience is not typical. Still waiting for my "flair" for bragging rights as contributor to 2019 kickstarter, ha. Where are you from Monarch? I grew up in a small Oklahoma town of about 1200 people. We knew when when a black person entered the town and when they left. They never stopped. They just kept driving. There used to be a black neighborhood but it was burned to the foundation. I’m sure NYC is racist but I can’t imagine rural flyover areas being better lol

Hi Cody, I wrote in my post.
“I’M 100% A NEW YORKER I can’t change that. But would never use the word proud. WE ARE NO BETTER OR WORSE BUT NOW REALIZE MY EXPERIENCE IS NOT TYPICAL.” I’ve traveled too many other states and countries for work. But, I can tell you about the multiple times having spent days/weeks using hospitals for two elderly non-English (Spanish only from Chile) speaking family members in the mid-west and Ohio, South Carolina in particular. The treatment in various hospitals, rehabilitation and palliative was nothing but first-class respect and care. Sorry, but as a real New Yorker, this culture of respect is near nonexistent in NY hospitals, palliative care, rehabilitation. My mother (now retired) and multiple family members work in NY hospitals. It's getting worse not better. Sadly, the mistreatment of Chemda is more the norm than an anomaly. I can’t speak to “a black neighborhood but it was burned to the foundation.” But like I said "WE (born and bred New York) ARE NO BETTER OR WORSE. |
