When Chemda was talking about learning to not accept being confused in relationships, I had a big "YEEEESSSSS" moment in my head. I've also gone through a destructive relationship before, and the best lesson I feel like I learned was exactly that: if your partner confuses you, you should be able to just talk to them about it and then, if they're a good partner for you, that confusion will immediately dissipate.

Also fuck social media, cut out anything that makes you feel bad.

When my ex and I broke up, I proactively blocked him on any social media I could, as well as all of his family/friends. Not just so he couldn't poke me, but so I would not and could not check up on him. Social Media prolongs a breakup.

I know Chemda didn't want anyone to take sides, she maintained enough silence about the breakup and has been honestly quite cautious about sharing "her side." I mean, that's super nice, to say "hey please don't hate my cheating, manipulative and lying ex husband" ....especially when she has the free therapy of a podcast to put ANYONE on blast, that takes some restraint. I get the intent of not weaponizing a whole podcasting community to turn against one person, but we can make up our own damn minds of "man, fuck that guy." If someone is that slimy to their partner/spouse, how genuine are their friendships REALLY. No more tricksters.

peace and love, but no more fucking tricks.
