I let Mrs flerchin vote in this one. She stops the household every time the Dallas cowboys are on TV and mercilessly needles her dad when they inevitably beat the Redskins. These women do exist.

Good Show

When I was in college a female co-worker of mine told me to tell this guy friend of hers, as a joke, that she had a great time last night. So when I saw him in the parking lot at the college I told him and kept on walking. His girlfriend, who I didn't know, was with him.

I went through a bunch of my albums and although my music taste is different from Keith and probably most of you I found only one instance that #4 is the best song on the album - billy Joel the stranger, scenes from an Italian restaurant. And even that I am not sure about lots of good stuff on that album.

Also Keith's story about the couple he sat with made me think of my honeymoon. My wife and I took a Greek cruise and the entire time every tour we took we ended up always being on the bus with this same couple. The last morning on the ship we happened to be seated at a table of 4 for breakfast with them. It turns out it was Opie, I had never listened to the show and only vaguely knew of it but was pretty cool.

Your story reminded me of a cruise I was on. We started in Barcelona and we were on the HOHO bus there. On our bus was a really annoying mother and daughter combo, daughter being similar age to us (40s).

We had planned to do tours with a bunch of people on the ship and meet up the first day during sail away. So guess who shows up at the sail away. Yup, the mother and daughter duo. They were nicer than the original encounter, but still a little annoying. Heh.

I bet she didn't think she was gonna get hit! Women in fight situations are always thinking they can get in peoples faces and not get one on the chin! Sorry, here's the exit to your involvement in this: my fist.

I always get all upset when a woman jumps into a fight, and people get mad for a dude hitting her. Mostly, it's because I feel like inevitably I'll end up in a fight (28 years w/out, it'll probably happen eventually), and if anyone who wasn't invited jumps in, it's fair game.
Keith, JSZilla and Sashi like this.

Keith listens to a lot of Rock and those type of bands tend to put their ballads at about 3rd or 4th on an album. Maybe even more so with hair metal bands? They all had the one token ballad right?

Hilarious episode. Christian's exasperation and you guys had me laughing so much.

I did a quick google search about the jets fan fight video because I wanted to know what started the fight (when the video starts there's already a scuffle in progress). I didn't find out but I did read that the guy had done time for killing someone
"...was sentenced to nearly four years in prison after being convicted of criminally negligent homicide for stabbing a teen during a fight outside a pizzeria in 1992."

The father of the teen that was killed said, "He (jets fan) went out of his way to get a knife to stab my son. My son was involved in a fist fight, and he went out to get a knife and stabbed my son."

Jets fan's dad "nearly cried Tuesday morning as he called his son “a gentle person’’ with no “history of violence.’’
