Is this some side effect of brexit? Why is Europe trying to catch up to America in terms of being backwards assholes? Can't find it now but read something recently about Italy or Spain wanting to keep gays off TV so kids aren't affected negatively. GTFOH. Italy and Spain are the gayest places on Earth.

I actually always felt bad for Elizabeth on the view (barring that she was paid buckets of money). The other cast members always seemed like assholes and they clearly brought her on to be the pretty conservative to shit on. The others had opinions equally asinine to her and so they don't really have room for the moral high ground and segments were designed to emotionally agitate her. Which, she took the bait hook, line and sinker.

Was listening to this in bed cracking up this morning - Keith's commentary on square heads is hilarious and it's episodes like this that keep me begging for more of you both.

As for the porn issue, I really feel like this can be more of a discussion. Chemda comes at it from the point of view of "how can porn be bad" but I really don't think she's been involved with dating younger men. Their OBSESSION with porn makes them terrible in bed. They focus on "money shots" and other weird things that seem to make me as the woman a subject of fantasy rather than part of it (cum on the face for instance, only guys that watch porn really love that).

I've "banned" my boyfriends from porn from a young age, emphasizing that we can make anything dirty we need to and trying to keep the idea of sex within our relationship. Maybe that's unhealthy but it's given me the BEST sex of my life and I've been in a relationship with the guy for 5 years. Every guy I was with was okay with cutting it out, particularly if it's contingent on "but we have to meet each others sexual needs or reevaluate this rule".

I'm with Apia, homeschooling sounds like a bad idea. Yes teachers do fucked up things too but it must somehow be better to get kids out of the house and into public view.

Homeschooling and private school should be illegal. Homeschool exists for nutjobs to keep their kids away from science and private school is for the rich to keep the kids away from the poor. If the rich and powerful had to use the same education system, the system would get a lot better a lot faster since they have access to the politicians/fundraising circles that can improve schools.

They go on and on about how "you can't just throw money at the public schools and expect them to get better", while knowing damn well that's what they do for their kids' hoity toity private institutions.

I’ll show my hand here and say homeschooling is particularly bad if the motivation is some form of religious beliefs.

If your doing it to stick it to the man then their is also a level of bullshit that goes along with it and your kids will grow up weirdly articulate and lonely.
