It's an amazing mic and not so expensive considering it's professional sound quality. It's the first thing any serious podcaster or amateur radio personality should think about getting.

That's a bit excessive considering I do professional music recording and one of the best mics I use is around $200. True there are mics in the $2000 price tag but most people can't tell the difference especially when burned to a CD. The PR-40 is probably really great for live sets but Keith could have had the same quality with a $80 mic.

Actually I thought I was just commenting on a post about a mic. My bad I figure.

Honestly I thought the old mic worked and sounded just right but hey who am I to know.
