Just grabbed a mystery box too! Couldn't resist the siren song of miscellaneous KATG swag.
I moved to Germany recently and I hear they can be quite particular about taxes & duties on packages from the US, so I'm sure this will be an interesting experience. Maybe Apia can teach me how to say "this box is from some podcasters I really dig and I have no idea what's inside" in German. |

I also found it super sad that these people's significant others find their singing embarrassing. Not even that it's BAD singing. Just...don't do it..cuz other people can hear it. What kinda shit is that?

Bless him, he was learning how the world worked and often liked to share his new knowledge with us, except to us it was, like, no doy. It was a little like dealing with a teenager going through puberty and finding himself, but 20 years too late. Each of these things is fairly innocuous but altogether and constantly, day in day out, made him a fucking nightmare. |

Can we get that tomato soup recipe? I don't really want to buy the book to get it, but I am curious.

When I learned this for the first time years ago my mind was fully blown. I associated both of these so heavily with European food that it's crazy to think they only arrive here less than 400 years ago. |
