In all the Rock and Roll tragedies, (Hendrix over-dosing, guitarist Dimebag Darrell getting shot onstage etc) let us never forget Rock’s greatest tragedia- Mick Mars’ spine.

Look at a photo. Dude looks 132 yrs old. Poor Mick!

I haven't listened yet, but I'm here to tell you guys that whenever I see Christian is on and the show notes include stories about bands I start to salivate.

Is that normal?

"Yummy" while applying mascara in the morning will almost blind you.

With one functioning eye I write a letter to Father Malley, with a hidden message... (oh, the stupid amount of time I wasted doing this in high school, all paying off right now!)

Fraternity
Unity
Compassion
Kindness

Many ignore these qualities, as they ignore
Empathy or even love.

Damage can be done
At all levels, by all people, but
Daily prayer and
Daily introspection will connect you to these attributes.
You, Father Malley, are an inspiration, and I thank you.

Same! I think we're rarer than I ever realized. I knew plenty of people who didn't go to church but not many who would actually say they were raised atheist.

But while I don't have catholic guilt I do have anxiety and depression so hey maybe the jokes on me!

I've been a fan of Christian for years, and had no idea his first name was Fletcher. I guess someone in the family had a Mutiny on the Bounty thing going.

Synchronicity

My mobile phone was resting on top of Alain de Botton book about Religion for Atheist as Christian recommended it!

If I had to chose a religion I'd be a Hindu.

Haha, me too. Though my grandma was jehovah's witness, but luckily my dad was smart enough to not follow that bullshit! Mum is now apparently a Christian, but she doesn't go to church (not even for xmas or Easter) so I don't think that counts.

I don’t think the “yes” votes got it, unless they were voting ironically

I’m an atheist. Certainly not raised. But I think most people need religion. Paradoxically, for all its faults, and there are many, there are those who can’t seem to find meaning without it. Maybe we evolved to fabricate an organizing ideology to cocoon ourselves in.
