There are tons of pro-level podcasts that record folks in separate locations and still have real good sound, either by recording Skype, which is orders of magnitude better than it used to be, or by each recording high quality audio separately which can then be easily combined on one end using any kind of multitrack mixing software like Audacity or Sound Forge.

My folks said they remember people buying out the stores like this in yr 2000, though I doubt it was as extreme, or that the news channels were this sensationalized.

I’m glad they’re trying to slow the spread and that Chemda’s taking precautions. My sister has an autoimmune condition as well. Things feel so crazy now.

I live in central PA (11 corona cases in the county as of this morning) and we're completely shut down. Law school has moved online and it's weird to get cold called while sitting on my couch in pajamas. Still no cases in Somerset, thankfully.

Sorta bullshit, I think, that Father Malley didn't warn us about pandemic. You'd think someone with his success record and such an impressive number of doctorates would figure out to use his extrasensory perception (ESP) for the benefit of humanity. Mind boggling, really.
