It makes me cringe so much hearing people talk about coronavirus so confidently. Scientists don't even know what's going on! People have been getting it twice, and antibodies diminish. Stay safe!!

True. It’s very rare but not impossible.

The latest facts as far as I know:

You are the most infectious before you develop symptoms, in the first 2-3 days of the infection.
That’s why Corona hat such a career.

After 1 week of being infected you are way less likely to infect someone.
It’s not impossible but unlikely.

Just got to the bit where they're talking about obesity and risk. There's definitely a lot of fat shaming and weight stigma in health care. But there is a strong correlation between having obesity and the severity of coronavirus (and risk of death). And from what we know about obesity, you can draw conclusions from it. People with obesity have reduced lung function, and coronavirus is a respiratory infection. Having excess fat also increases inflammation, which can cause too much of an immune response. That's all i remember from my training about it. Not sure if anyone cares but I think it's important to clear it up.

Talking about someone's eating habits in a negative way is fat shaming. It can seem obvious that McDonald's isn't healthy, but there are so many reasons why people choose to eat what they do. And assuming someone eats McDonald's because of their size is also shaming.

I seem to have a lot of opinions today, but i guess this is the only thing I feel knowledgeable enough to talk about.

Yup, agree that dieting doesn't work. As soon as you go back to "normal" eating you'll put weight back on. You need to change your behaviours and develop an overall healthy lifestyle.

I don't think intuitive eating works for everyone though. People with obesity's intuition will often tell them to eat more than their body needs, so can be really hard for them.

I think eating McD for every meal can not be great.
If you do it sometimes it’s not a problem, at least I think so.

Also, a person can be slim and unhealthy. So it’s complicated.
Overall I think, the more rules about food you have, the harder is it to think about anything else.

What if you eat McDonald's every day AND fuck it every other day?

Is that good or not the best?

Emily's covid math; Keith is over reacting about Andrea's lax attitude when it comes to quarantining because Andrea can't get it again and neither can the guys she is hooking up with because they both had it once. They also can't spread it... because reasons. However, Emily still wears mask's, not to give strangers peace of mind, but because she doesn't know how this virus works or if she can get reinfected... huh? Also how crazy are her friends for not taking this virus seriously and throwing a wedding?

Is it just me or are the people who are not taking this virus seriously but truly think they are, somehow come off worse than the people who think covid is a hoax and mask are for pussies?
