They pick NOW to send a box and rug-sweep everything that happened?

They had the chance to pretend like they cared and nothing before mattered, when you had your surgery. That was the choice they made to ignore you. That junction was honestly an easy opportunity for them to try a reconciliation because who is going to say "no, fuck off" from a hospital bed? When you're sick or hurt you want your mommy and that would have been the easiest in for them.

For no reason, out of the blue, to just be like HEY HERE'S SNACKS HAPPY NEW YEAR, and expect you to be open and unguarded about an interaction? What the fuck is their end game in that? They owe you an explanation, an apology, and acceptance as a human. You're not wrong.

I agree. For me they would also have to be at least ready to talk about what happened between them and Chemda and why they didn’t talk for so long. Also why her father decided not to see her after her tumor operation.

I wouldn’t just accept them back in my life without any conversation.

Also I see the appeal to be a cyborg somehow but also I think that it might be hard on one’s mental health to have 6 arms and an additional eye that is not attached to your body.

The question ‘ where do I begin’ is an interesting one here.

An extra appendage would definitely fuck with one’s proprioception.
