Us midwesterners take a bit to get to the point. We’re in a perpetual state of fixin’ to get to the point.

I don't know how many times I've been asked "where is this story going?" or "When are you getting to the point?"

I started going to therapy after my mother died I went once a week for months 3 or 4 then the psychologist said 'you've been coming here for a while now and although you first said you came to talk about your mom you haven't mentioned her once. Do you want to talk about your mother?' I did, felt better and was good and never went back.

What a story. Holy shit. Wish I could give her a hug.

Omg I want to give her a hug also. And also curse that guy out for her. Like sure it’s one of those lessons learned the hard way type of stories stories but this is pretty extreme. He sounds like a trickster. I don’t like tricksters.

Omg as I write this she just said she replied to him. OMG Betsy Helmuth!!! Learn your lesson and stop being nice. Omg My heart is pounding.

Oh no, her voice is cracking and I’m hurting for her so much. Sending another hug her way. Ugh this sort of abuse is so horrific. I’m so sad this happened to her.

Also, since there was no contract.....then there was no NDA, right? Sell your story to TMZ, the Shade Room, whatever forum that will cut you a check.

Republicans tried to violently overthrow the government. Never forget that is was the republicans. There is no both sides argument. Republicans are an actual threat to our democracy.

Where to Draw the Line
 

When the discussion of where to draw the line came up I think it’s perfectly okay to take bad people’s money....but I worry that Betsy is too nice and she will take their money and also give them A+ service and continue to be taken advantage of by bad people. I would suggest she not take those jobs to avoid continuing letdowns. She’s sweet and I don’t want her getting taken advantage of.
