The pic of the sofa tempts me a little to start a "show us a pic of your sofa" thread. My IKEA sofa is still very comfortable but looking nastier and nastier. They don't age well.

My sofa looks really good for $600 and four years of age. I bought the cheapest one in the store because it was all I could afford. But, I do have two cats so it's impossible to keep it hairless even though I swipe it with my little vaccum cleaner every single day. Bleh. Anyway, it's purple. I love my purple couch. It's light and I can move it around by myself when I rearrange my furniture.

As for pencils, Andy whatshisbutt is a moron if he's asking where #1 pencils are. Pencil graphite is graded by hardness and color (how dark it writes). The #2 pencil happens to be the standard for writing, but there are #1 pencils, #3 pencils, etc. Artists generally use the other levels for their work, but every so often I'll end up with a #3 pencil in my ever growing pile of random writing utensils that magically appear in my desk at home. #3 pencils are softer, which means #1 pencils are harder (I think). I learned this shit in fourth grade art class, where the hell was Mr. 60 Minutes that day in school?
