3415: Drive w/ Zahra Noorbakhsh

Zahra joins KATG and discusses her Iranian heritage, her straight marriage and bisexuality, and her study of bro culture in comedy. Keith talks about his death-defying Memorial Day drive and his millionaire stepkids. The gang then discusses the top news stories including Chick-fil-A being at it again, the Bachelor franchise’s host Chris Harrison’s firing and $25,000,000 ultimatum, and Anthony Weiner selling NFTs based on his sexting crimes. Other news includes Mission: Impossible 7 shutting down, lawyer F. Lee Bailey’s passing and his life in Hell, Ghislaine Maxwell’s fifth bail rejection, and Derek Chauvin asking for his sentence to be time served. Sure, why not. Oh, and Julia Scotti’s people wrote KATG a letter.

Zahra Noorbakhsh

Her vibe! Such a great show please have her back on!
5/5 scallops!

Also that lil teaser at the end, it was like a marvel after credits scene setting up the next movie, that's how you promote! If I wasn't a vip member already I'd be buying up a membership just to get all the tea.

Zahra is my new favorite person. Jokes jokes jokes! so many jokes that were so smart and quick and subtle and serious and hilarious all at once. Sounded like a dream of a person to talk to. More of her please!

Thank god, A comedian! She was so funny. Great show. This might be a double listen. What a goddamn delight. She clearly read the assignment.

My mother country would be Poland I guess, and I would 100% not want to live there.
The church has way more power there, homophobia is huge there, no thanks.

I started to listen to the show.
At first there was the better help and after it the cereal ad.
I was brushing my teeth and somehow thought we were still at better help ( its 6 em here am just waking up).
When Keith said: 100% happiness guaranteed I was very impressed.
Wow, thats a bold statement!
My therapist should step it up I guess!

My mother country is Poland too and I wouldn’t want to go back either. Between the lack of access to reproductive care and the rampant homophobia and the religious zealotry and poor separation of church and state matters… NO THANKS.

When I see my former class mates on Facebook they seem more like my parents. No. They seem less open minded than my parents. And less cool. (!!! My parents are not especially cool)
Germany seems like a liberal paradise compared to Poland.

I said goodbye to the church and my parents only said:
Ok, you must know what you are doing. And didn’t even bring it up that I didn’t baptize the kids.
My father admires it secretly.
They never tried to guilt me back to the church. That’s a big, big plus. They even say that they only stay in because they somehow got used to it.

I really enjoyed this guest and hope to hear her on the show again.

And the ending-yet another person who can’t be bothered to do their research before being upset...
