The vaccine does not change your DNA. I promise.

Dna- like a cookbook for everything in your body.
The rna vaccine is like an additional recepy for a dish you can't cook.
It will not be added to your permanent cookbook.

Luckily everyone i care about got the vaccine - my too young children. I'm really glad we have no complete idiots in my family, at least the family we see and like.
I am done trying to convince anyone now.
Whoever doesn't get the vaccine will get the antibodies by covid and if they not die from it.
Some people seem to need to feel pain to learn. Pain from loosing a life partner to covid for example because reading about people they dont know doesnt generate emphaty in them.

Two things.

1. I have a fully vaccinated friend who caught covid and had full on symptoms. They call it a break through case. Yes, it's rare but it's a person who was responsible and still caught covid. He ended up having a stroke from it and is still in the hospital unable to really speak and with the possibility of brain surgery on the table. So it's not just antivaxxers that can still get it. (This isn't in opposition to anything you said on the show, it's just worth noting).

2. My almost 25 year old son is not vaccinated. He has adhd like me but he's much younger so he hasn't gotten control of stuff in the way that I have (which is also not a lot, but I've had practice for longer). He got his first shot, then showed up late for his second appointment and couldn't get it. Then he got sick. THEN his dad died (of liver stuff, not covid). Then I think adhd took over. I messaged him to remind him to get it so he is going to start again and he is. He still wears a mask everywhere.

Am I frustrated with him? Yes. Would I have already started my shots over? Yes. Would someone who is not neurodiverse at his age with his general sensibilities have started their shots over by now? Yes.

Yes I'm mad at people that can get it and haven't yet for ruining things, including my son. That said, I'm going to wait to wish death on them for a little longer for the neurodiverse to catch up since I know how it feels and have my own (non covid) shit normies would have done that I haven't and I'm embarrassed about.

I dunno. Not arguing with anyone, just felt like speaking up.

i read somewhere Simone Biles got The Twisties, in baseball it’s called The Yips; your body literally loses its muscle memory. in one of her earlier vaults you can see her mid-twist, her body nopes out. it’s fairly common, but if she continued performing, she could injure herself. ain’t nothing worth that and, frankly, she has nothing to prove. it was a prudent move.

I am very critical of sports on this high level. It can not be any good for the soul.
Knowing it only every 4 years and that next time you might be too old is really lots of pressure.

My husband is an identical twin. It's weird knowing that my children technically have two biological fathers (a DNA test wouldn't differentiate between my husband and his brother).

I never dated a twin but we had very popular and attractive male twins at school and I always wondered how the girls who were into them determined on who they had the crush. ( they were so popular that even girls from 2 grades above were into them. Like they were 15 and 17 teen year old liked them.
