3489: Transcendence w/ Dave Ross
New guest Dave Ross joins Keith and Chemda to discuss the inner workings of Drunk History and him squashing a beef between himself and Marc Maron. Maybe. The gang also discusses starting fights with strangers on the street, the joys of heroin, the Bumble class-action lawsuit, and love transcendence thanks to Jason Momoa, Lisa Bonet, Megan Fox, and Machine Gun Kelly.

The quote you're reading is from Jason Momoa's Instagram (prideofgypsies), not Lisa's. It was apparently a joint statement, but he does speak like a hippie surfer dude.
I don't see the statement on his Instagram anymore. |
1. Dave has a really good voice in my opinion.
It’s very recognizable and it has a good sound. 2. he was a good guest. 3. I remember listening to his WTF episode and what I was wondering why Marc sounded so annoyed in the beginning. 4. Shout out to heroine. Did you know it was invented by the German Pharma company Bayer? No wonder it’s so good. |
It’s so good I heard!
I am not a big drug user because I’m too scared and too cheap. I know weed and I once tried half a MDMA pill and didn’t feel anything. So that’s how hardcore I am. |
Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa walked so Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly could run.

Overall loved Dave a lot. Hilarious, good insights, played along well.
UNTIL he had comments on Beyonce's Lemonade, and specifically saying "I believe Jay-Z cheated on Beyonce, but you know what I don't believe? That she really gives a fuck" Which, thank you Chemda for coming through with your gentle and succinct point that musicians and artists make content around the shit they are going through, so it makes sense for Beyonce to make an album about her fraught relationship with Jay-Z. I would really like to know why Dave assumes Beyonce wouldn't care about her partner cheating. I mean I don't know, I have no proximity to celebrity, but I feel pretty confident in saying that fame and money don't protect you from that kind of relationship pain? What I'm trying to say is, Dave was a really great guest and I have some things I wanna argue with him about and Chemda as always was on point... Machine Gun Kelly very much IS Vampire Justin Bieber. |

If I get three or more likes, I'd like(!) to start nominating a "Most Chemda Moment" in the awards thread. We'll kick off with that time Chemda got Megan Fox and Megyn Kelly mixed up. Priceless.
