3530: Just a Perfect Day

Oh, such a perfect day. Keith and Chemda reminisce on the Washington Square Park rendezvous with The Morrows, they follow up on the stories regarding Mike Tyson and Bill Murray’s violent behaviors, and Keith shares the latest back and forths with his father which, to Keith’s happiness, was shared with Keith’s siblings in real time.

Tyson bit Lewis during a press conference. He tackled he tackled Lewis and bit him when they were on the ground and people were trying to seperate them. Then Lewis besa the shit out of him in the actual fight. And Tyson said he was going to "fade into bolivian".

I know I keep saying it but just when I thought my opinion of father mAlley couldn’t get any lower…like he thinks he is god. And the audacity to suggest that he would ever have a chance with his ex and completely missing the fact that he is still married to their mother. Like-wow.

Talking about things is so important. This is how people realize that they are not alone and that it isn’t ok. That is how change happens. The longer it is kept buried the worse it gets.

Being silent only projects the abuser and keeps the abuse going.

I wouldn't be able to deal with Keith's father like Keith does because it would depress me. Thats on me! But I think it is the right thing to to to expose him.

I wonder what the personality trait is that makes a priest a priest. Up here in Canada we are dealing with the fallout from discovering that thousands of native children have died in the residential school program primarily run by church centric groups. One out of 50, children died.

Imagine the arrogance of a group that thinks they know how to raise children better than the parents do, largely because the society the would be raised in doesn't meet the churches standards and then they loose thousands and bury them in unmarked graves.

I guess this is what you get when you convince a group of people that they are the conduit of God.

It is clear that this is what Keith had to grow up with. It is like being raised by a mentally ill person. What is clear is that Keith's Dad believes he is infallible. That is truly fucked up in a lot of ways.

No vulnerability, no humility, just the smugness of thinking you know everything.

Logging back in to say Chemda, you've gone to Atlantic City and hung inside the casinos, and you've flown internationally. Compared to that, am outdoor park trip is a tiny risk. And a movie theater, even for a popular movie, is still smaller.

We had a preemie, so there was a period of time we had to be covid avoidant like our lives depended on it, while everyone else had decided covid was over. The amount of bad logic we heard about covid rivaled "calories don't count on vacation" and "you can't get pregnant if you pull out"

People that do bad shit to you want you to keep it to yourself because that's how they get away with it. Talk it up!

We had such a good time at the park. I smoked weed but Chemda is the one who got paranoid? I loved it.
