I identify as a real adult.
Why do I see myself this way? I think I do lots of adult shit pretty well.

I am a lawyer by education ( after 41 hours of exams) and I have also a one year degree/certification in pharma.
We ( Mr Apia and I are a couple since 2006) live in my paid off house, we are also landlords now in an apartment we bought. We have two children and both work full time.
I speak 5 languages. ( 2 of them just ok) I have sold the old house of my parents by myself without an agent. There is so much more but now I'm bored.

Still my father tries to tell me about other kids who are REALLY impressive. You can never win. At least now I laugh at him and tell him think again other people use me as an example to annoy their children, you are ridiculous, father.

And if you wonder if I am happy with myself:
I think I'm OK. I could do more. When I think about it I should do more.
Could have done more.

Yes I'm in therapy.

Btw I came to Germany at the age of 12.

Yeah, that's exactly why I got divorced! No thanks!

I am an adult, but there's no way I'm the same kind of adult my grandparents were. There's no way they were this fuckin goofy and clueless.

We as a couple are now the FAMILY ADULTS. In the family of Ms Apia also is his sister and her partner. The parent generation comes to us with life questions now.
I think we are way more adult that the grandparents ever were.

It's an interesting experience.

I think people without Impostor Syndrome are assholes. You're ALWAYS in control and comfortable and the person you're supposed to be? Amazing.

I don't have imposter syndrome but I manage to feel bad in another way.
My inner voice says " this was good for starters and now do 100 times more. You have the potential so you have to, you lazy human. What you achieved is the least you could do. You know you have many talents so now always work, always."
