I don't use nicotine anymore but I'd say I'm still highly addicted. I recall a few years ago having coffee with some friends and one commented that he'd been off cig's for about 10 years. I asked if he still got cravings. He said he'd happily kill everyone at the table for a drag.
I thought it was a bit extreme at the time but now that I quit smoking about a year and half ago, I know exactly what he means. I stood downwind of a smoldering ashtray the other day. Smelled like mostly filters burning. It was heaven.....

The Bible: Life begins at first breath (Genesis 2:7)
Conservative Christians: Life begins at conception got it ok. But also the Bible has talking animals and people with superpowers so it's clearly just mythology that shouldn't be part of any rational policy discussion. |
