I dont know what my position on kids in bars even is.

Because I would never bring them, I don't even like going to restaurants with kids unless it's outside and they can go and play when they are done with eating.

I prefer ordering food and eating it at home with the kids and going to restaurants alone ( I travel for work and enjoy a lunch only in my own company a lot) or with other adults.

The kids aren’t fans of sitting quietly at the table and this is totally normal.
But I also know we have backyard privilege.
We can drink wine at the outdoor table and the kids can jump on the trampoline or do other fun stuff.

Kids don't belong at a DRINKIN' BAAHH, but a beer garden where there's games and whatnot, they're catering to families basically.

This I can imagine.

People are growing beer in gardens now? Wow.

It's the national heritage of the country on my passport.

ah your full of it. My mom was a bartender and she worked on Sunday afternoons and often had to take me to work or leave me home alone at age 6 to about 12 I spent many Sunday afternoons at a bar hanging out, drinking Sherly Temples and playing some pinball. Some great memories I have talking to some of the regulars about who knows what. Some nice people there who where good to me.

so, as far as "kids in bars" depends on the bar I guess. If you're at a bar and see a kid and that bothers you maybe you should really question what behavior you're involved in and should not do that regardless of a kid being around.
