oh sorry, i am an idiot. Good point. Tho', now, everytime i hear the word i can't help thinking of the old def which i heard as: geek-somone who eats his own feces of course nerd means: a foolish or contemptible person who lacks social skills or is boringly studious I'm thinking you are the latter? |

Man, Merriam-Webster pulls no punches, does it? But I wonder why someone who is studious would also be considered foolish. I think they got dork and nerd confused. They are different sub-species, after all. |

1) The quotes that Keith read are in the Sync magazine article that the short article refers to. http://damon.durandfamily.org/archives/000252.html (The original page at Sync is no longer online.) 2) I said "nearly" because it's always possible that there are even older versions of the story out there. Good day, sir. |

I just got off the phone with a woman from the MTA and they credited the money back to my card. She apologized for the delay in processing my case. It took so long because "The girl who deals with these is on vacation and she locks her desk." Even when they try to win they lose.
