That couple who insisted about the seats was too much. Make a decision and stick with it.
However, when I book seats in the theatre it's because I specifically wanted those seats. I did the work to book those in advance and I want them. When this happened in the past, I just sat somewhere else, unless the theatre had a lot of people in it and I could tell it was filling up quickly. I don't think there's anything wrong with letting the people in your seats know they already booked, in case other people start to show up and take your new seats. In which case, you may need to go back to the seats you booked. There's nothing worse than having to grab all of your things and move around to various seats each time more people come in because someone else took your booked seats. |
I recently had to do some official passport/visa/nationality stuff and needed to fill in not only my parents' details and date and place of marriage, but also THEIR parents. I've started a spreadsheet with all that stuff (and marriage and divorce dates and places and God knows what) because you never know when they are going to ask such silly shit. Soon it'll be lost to history and some civil servant is going to ask me for my great-grandmother's shoe size.
I was hoping I'd be able to show off my knowledge of port passing (clockwise, Bishop of Norwich, etc.) in this forum for this episode. :( |
