Frozen vs. natural state is a completely different story. Without getting into gory detail, the consistency of non-frozen is enough to make any human lose their lunch, so don't get your hopes up.

I remember hearing about Walmart getting in trouble because some stores in Texas were hiring undocumented workers and locking them in the stores overnight. Here is a New York Times article from 2004 regarding the overnight lock-in. There've been some problems when employees had medical emergencies and couldn't get out. Although it looks as though there are fire doors that set off an alarm so people could get out if it was an emergency. Still, it's pretty messed up to lock your workers inside without a key to get out until morning.
