All this is absolutely true, but still, seeing him on Letterman last night, he simply has that legend kind of aura. Which I guess helps when you decide last second to get your former co-star on-air minutes on national television.

A lot of people don't like Wiki because anyone can change it... but the population does a damn good job of keeping it kosher. My boss's son went on and changed an entire article to read "FUCK YOU ASSHOLES!" and it worked. But within hours it was changed back.
Smell is the strongest 'trigger' to mem though....I know for a fact the certain perfumes drive me nuts.Weither it be because I had a good time with someone who wore it ,or it was an ex that use to wear it etc...The whole turn you on thing is a personal one...Ive also seen this work the other way as well some smells dont agree with you ,FULL ON TURN OFF. Recently Ive heard that the only scent that actually acts 'spanish flyish' is your natural one like first thing in the morning before shower or any scented prod. (and no not after a night of drinking and garlic bread snack) I myself wear nothing scented except if im goin out out I use cologne ( ie unscented shampoo soap deodorant etc..)I figure if your spending up to 150$ for a bottle to make you smell good why would you want a 10$ fruitty shampoo to mix with it?

Supposedly, we can smell each other's immune systems. The evolutionary imperitive being that you want one that's opposite of your own so your children will have both and thusly a better one. So of course, someone with the same system would smell bad to you. So all this cologne and "body spray" is really just designed to trick nature and cheat us out of a stronger species.

Yeah it's sick what smells can do for nostalgia. You can watch a video of yourself and your younger times. Listen to music from a certain period in your life. These will both conjure up sufficiently strong doses of nostalgia. Somehow it seems, however, that the scent of smell triggers an avalanche of emotion that can't be compared to. I think it might have something to do with smell's disassociation from the other senses. For example, after my father died, I hadn't opened his cologne until just recently. When I did finally smell it, my memories were triggered, but with no substantial aid, be as visual or audial to reference it. The lack of those other senses made the desire to remember him even stronger. Side note.. it didn't smell EXACTLY like him as it is well known that individual human pheromone mixes with the cologne to give a distinct smell exclusive to each person who wears the same cologne/perfume.

What Keith said about going back to something you've made after not hearing or seeing it for a couple of months or so is a good rule of thumb for testing your own stuff. Songwriters do it all the time because while you're crafting the tune it's so in-your-head you can't hear it with fresh ears and it's too easy to bullshit yourself into being happy with a mediocre peice of work.

Also, balls to Creeps for not only sticking around and claiming the name but also owning up to not being in tune with the social etiquette yet. In his defence KATG have always brought up social or work situations they don't know how to deal with, Mr Doesn't Know How To Spit Food Into A Napkin and Ms Pretend To Be Ok When She's Actually Starving. It's funny shit. Creepy Guy just needs to start his own podcast about how he's learning social etiquette. A media kit is just round the corner for you CGuy.

I would beg him to steal some so we could see if it worked. I think he was just showing off.. but I did later hear the same thing from a more reputable source. Who knows.
I had an ex wear drakkar an swore that it was the greatest thing in the world and i HATED IT! He mentioned it everytime i was at his house and would caress the bottle at times like he was in love with it. the name itself makes me shake my head in bad memories..........

Hey Nick Post:

Just wanted to say welcome back. I haven't seen you around the forums, but I haven't been back in some time too (I used to be over at myspace.com/todd_darren...aka: Creepy Guy!)

I have been following your blog and been wondering how you have been doing. The Saturday Nov. 18 DVD Screening in NYC was a new beginning for me. Pop by my new myspace and say hey if you want.
