I agree; they are completely separate offenses. I think parallel being drawn by Chemda is the trust (or lack thereof) issue.

I hate when that happens... I guess I know what to call it now.

Shutting down for Christmas?

That means I'll have to join in with real-life things, to do with families, friends, Christmas. Boooo. Or maybe I could stop being a dick and listen to shows from before I started listening...

But, yeah, you should be allowed to take a vacation like everyone else - I'm sure you can get somewhere hot for a lot less than $3,000.

This was a great show, even the "discussion" was entertaining, if slightly uncomfortable. The love shines through.

A highlight was Keith accidentally figuring out he can take more than one phone call at a time. "Whaaaa? Did I do that?"

I think the trust issue is still a stretch in comparison. Being unfaithfull and lieing about haveing a drink, is a whole other ball game.

I think lying about cheating would be lying about fucking somebody, and Chemda made it clear that her issue was with the dishonesty, anyway.

I completely agree with you. However, Chemda's reality and perception is totally different from ours so it is impossible for anyone to tell her that the two situations don't compare. They obviously do compare to her.

I'm just sayin' because I have a similar situation (not drinking specifically) with my significant other that nobody else thinks is a big deal. But it is a HUGE deal to me. Does that make sense? Kinda? Sorta? Ahhh, forget it.

Lying is lying. If you're going to tell a lie about drinking, then you may tell a lie about something else.

You're lying about doing something or is the other person? Now you've piqued our interests, so you have to spill.

I'd like to propose a toast:
"Here's to alcohol, the cause of -- and solution to -- all of life's problems."
