My company paid xmas bonuses for the first time in 7 years.

Enter my good karma payback and simultaneous fuck you from god.

ON THE WAY to the bank to deposit my bonus check ($1000.00 MINUS the government ass FUCK = $540.00) the timing belt broke on my car. Total damage... $750.00. Could have been worse.

So anyone else buy your wife a timing belt for christmas?

From the former socialistic state of Sweden, nowadays run by conservativs though. And who says capitlism = bonuses.

We too are a capitalistic state (to most extent anyway) and here it's not THAT very common with bonus systems, exept for people in the marketing segment of course. They live off provision and bonuses. But the remaining 80% of the poulation has a regular (underpaid and thankless) job!

My company just won a $12 million lawsuit against a company that was using one of our products without paying us. Our Christmas bonuses this year? $100. Non-profit agency is a meaningless term.

I think you are a bit confused or have not heard this show yet or something. I was referring to the story that was told in the show where a guy was told when he took a job on that he was suppose to get $1500 as a Christmas bonus but instead he got $1250 and he wanted to take it HR and wanted KATG's advice on what to do about it.

I would have gotten about 300.00 or something stupid, no matter how little that might be to some people, that would have helped me out a lot.
