Don't worry Chemda, there was no music playing when I lost mine. Although before we moved from the couch to the bedroom we were listening to "Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk" by Rufus Wainwright. It seemed appropriate. And I was one of those late bloomers (in my twenties at the time), but that's already been covered on the show. Fucked up childhood, yadda yadda yadda.

I can't remember specifically, but because I was going out with an older guy (I was 17, senior in HS, he was 21. Yes, I know.), I'm going to assume there was music because he had five roommates, and music was the only way to create any sense of privacy. I'm going to guess it was probably Scorpions, Rush, or Led Zeppelin, nothing popular at that time.

Been a member of Netflix for the past four years or so. The service has gotten a lot better recently and they don't seem to be throttling people who end up going through a lot of movies each month. I'm able to get new releases far easier than I used to. They seem to have just about every DVD that exists and their prices have come down a lot over the past several years. Really good way to catch up on television shows that you've missed.

Blockbuster is NOT better than Netflix. I've been a member of that service and quit after two months. The selection isn't as good, they give you edited versions where Netflix automatically sends you the "uncut" or director's edition of most items you choose, and the shipping time for Blockbuster is horrendous. Netflix gets me my stuff in one day. I waited three days to get Blockbuster stuff. Also, as Keith noted, they suck at checking in your returns and will commonly claim that they never received it. I was charged sixty dollars for "keeping" three rentals that I actually returned. Blockbuster is shit.

Blockbusters (ALL of them in Memphis) won't let you turn in your movies and get new ones in store. Fine print on their on-line membership states "Participating stores only." The local stores don't want to bother. Since the on-line comes with free in-store rental, this blows. Need to change to Netflix, just sort of apathetic before. NOW I have a reason. Want to support KATG.
