I'm a virgin
I have never posted anything before so i may be fucking it up but had to try. My dad was a truck driver for 40 years. I can remember one time when I was living in California with my ex-hubby and my dad was traveling through. We went to go see him in at a truck stop. I was sitting on my ex's lap in the passenger seat while talking to my dad who was sitting in the drivers seat. As trucks drove by the CB went wild thinking i was a lot lizzard and was willing to tag team. It was hysterical to me but my dad was sooo pissed. My dad said that Chicago was the worst place he ever had to drive truck in. He had a bad experience with "niggers" jumping on his trailer trying to break it open to steal what they could get while he was stopped at stop lights. The high light of his carrier was when he hauled the Budweiser Funny Car. Just had to share.

Yeah, it was pretty funny. I especially liked it when I heard it the first time, on South Park.

First time posting, been listening since Ep 441 so I'm pretty damn new! But loving the show so far and i'm gonna work my way through the back catalogue!
I live in the UK, so truckers have less land to ... truck over? But my dad was a trucker and I remember some days I was allowed to go out with him, buying cornish pasties from petrol stations and pulling the horn cord while passing through sleepy villages. Ahhh .. bliss! But YAY truckers! Also this is the first time I've ever heard Patrice ... mmmm .. I could listen to her all day! .. ooh noo! Not THAT way! .. wierdos, I just like her voice! Keep up the awesome shows! |
