big hugs Rhian, and for that matter, for everyone else that smiles and laughs out loud (oh... sorry LOL) during the 5 plus hours a week that we share together through our earbuds.

Going to NYC I know we all "expected" to have a great time, but I wondered if everyone that I was going to meet in person for the first time was someone I would really like... if I was going to get along with them the way I did on the chat or forums... if they were going to be the same person in front of me as they had been in font for so long. I was also anxious to meet those that I didn't really care for or that had been unnecessarily unpleasant to me. And you know what, EVERYONE ROCKED!

You could not have asked for a better group of party people to hang out with. It really was about the "community." Everyone contributed something to the overall weekend experience... some opened their homes to those needing a place to crash... some entertained out of towners with site seeing and other activites... some bought rounds of drinks. It was UNBELIEVABLE. I know we all have this thing called KATG in common, but it was a beautiful thing to see everyone have such a great time together.

That being said, I personally have a relationship with Rhian that has been going on for a long time before I ever got to be in the same room with her in April. She and I aren't just chat buddies, but we talk on the phone, email, and mail each other on an almost daily basis. She is like a sister to me. I hear everyday about the doctor's visits and tests and other things that she and her husband are going through on a deeper level than most of you will never know. I would like to think that it is the COMMUNITY SPIRIT of KATG that keeps her going and that our collective support will improve her chances of beating this thing... whatever it is. I can't imagine anyone - even if you don't particularly like another person for whatever reason - wishing ill will on someone or kicking them when they are down.

I would hope that whether you are a raving Rhian fan or think she's attention whore, that you stop to think about how your actions in life and how you treat other people impacts you as a person. I know we are all here in celebration of the "asshole," but there are times in life when it is appropriate to just act like a human being and not be an asshole... even if just for a moment.

Dinner at that great little Spanish restaurant with you was AWESOME Jeremy! I'm glad there weren't "calf fries" on that HUGE plate of meat that me & Mr. D shared or I would feel really WEIRD now! J/K! You can count on us to wipe your face and hold your head up again next year!

The first treatment was uneventful itself. Afterwards I was nauseous for the rest of the night. Even now I feel a bit off...
